Winners from all categories, Best Pre-Development Project Award Powered by HAVC, Council of Europe Series Co-Production Development Award and Best Finished TV Series in the CEE, will be announced during NEM Zagreb 2024
Zagreb, November 28th, 2024 – The organizers of NEM Zagreb have revealed the full list of finalists from NEM Awards 2024, a contest which primarily serves for creating opportunities for new TV and film projects from CEE, co-productions between CEE countries and co-production between low and high-production capacity countries.
Best Pre-Development Project Award Powered by HAVC and Council of Europe Series Co-Production Development Award finalists will be presented during first and second day of NEM Zagreb 2024. All winners will be announced on December 11, 2024.
- Best Pre-Development Project Award powered by HAVC is a category for screenwriters who have an idea for a TV script, regardless of their experience and the finalists depending on four categories are:
a) Documentary series/Feature-length film
- Réka Pigniczky – Concrete Jungle Dreams: The Human Impact of Housing Projects
- Sanja Matovina Janski – The Laundresses from Preko
- Timea Huszár & Daniel Washington – Underneath the Waves
b) Entertainment format
- Darko Karanfilov – Scratchcards

c) Scripted series

- Council Of Europe Series Co-Production Development Award is intended to foster creative collaborations in series co-production and empower independent producers and the finalists are:

- Best Finished TV Series in the CEE Award is a prestigious acknowledgment of excellence, celebrating fully realized and completed works in TV series originating from Central and Eastern Europe, and the finalists are:

New Europe Market (NEM) is the collective name for a series of events organized by Mediavision, the Croatian marketing and television industry agency. NEM is traditionally held in Dubrovnik, and in 2019 NEM Zagreb was held for the first time, dedicated to creativity in television.
