Adisa Smajić has graduated Academy of Performing Arts in the Production Department. She is currently employed as a Line Producer at the Deblokada Production founded by director Jasmila Žbanić, and producer Damir Ibrahimović. While she was at the Academy she collaborated with young director Stijn Bouma on his short film ‘’Lejla’’ which was nominated for Cinefondation Award at Cannes Film Festival in 2017. After she graduated she worked at FilmHouse Production with director Aida Begić, and she was part of the production team for Aida’s last film ‘’Ballad’’. The last project she made as a Line Producer is the documentary film ‘’Blum’’ directed by Jasmila Žbanić, which will soon have its premiere at Festivals. At the moment she is working on several Deblokada’s projects. Series ‘’ I know how you breathe ‘’ is the project in the production phase where Adisa works as a Line Producer. Nonetheless, she is preparing the feature film ‘’Striguns’’ whose shooting starts in March 2023.
