Zoltán Nevelős was born in 1971 in Budapest. He graduated in Hungarian and English literature and linguistics at Szeged University. He made documentary programmes at Duna Televízió’s Religion Department, then as a programme manager he joined the channel’s Film Department, continuing in the Film Department of joined public media MTVA, now also serving as Head of Acquisitions. He served as editor of DVD Est Extra magazine between 2001 and 2005. He translated dozens of feature films for dubbing. For many years he was advisor and catalogue editor for Titanic Budapest Filmfest. His articles on film were published mainly in Filmvilág magazine.
