Sanja Matovina Janski graduated from the University of Zagreb with a degree in Spanish and English language and literature. From 1994 to 2021 she worked in Spain as a conference interpreter and sworn translator appointed by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation. Her essays on literature have been published in the CDLIB magazine in Palma de Mallorca. Currently she splits her time between Zagreb and Dubrovnik, working as a freelance certified translator. She loves storytelling and creating memorable characters in her short stories and novels. She writes in Croatian, Spanish and English.
