Synopsis: Nikola Krsmanović lives outside Belgrade in an unfinished house. At night, he drives a taxi and hasn’t drunk alcohol in a year. Nikola’s wife, Maja, married a respectable man and lives with Nikola’s daughter in a beautiful house in the wider city centre. Nikola has left his job in the police and now works as a driver and bodyguard for elite prostitutes. During an incident, Nikola beats a banker who attacked one of his protégées, and after the banker is found dead, Nikola becomes the prime suspect. The case becomes very personal for the former inspector Nikola Krsmanović, especially since his former colleagues are working on it. Following police leads and the workings of elite prostitution and organized crime, Nikola gradually realizes that the solution to the mystery lies in a distant past.
