Synopsis: A six-part series with its raw depiction of drug addiction is aimed primarily at a young audience. It is meant to entertain, yet it also serves as a catalyst to raise awareness about challenges drugs represent to society and their prevention. A group of five addictology students decide to try drugs as part of their science project. But the experiment gets out of hand – the effects of the drugs do not wear off even after a few days and they remain high forever…
The first episode takes us to a near future where Prague is wrestling down a drug addiction crisis. Max, Mell, Ema, Robin, Soňa. Five addictology students decide to take a distinctive approach to their studies and experiment: they take drugs to, at least temporarily, solve their problems. As Professor Jensenová says, drugs are shortcuts to solving problems. But the experiment has one significant catch. The effects of the drugs become permanent for everyone. The fun and newly acquired “superpowers” drive the young protagonists to the edge of their abilities, and their powers. And all this in a situation where the government has established the post of drug coordinator who approaches the issue with the utmost severity…
