Marie Roussin is a French screenwriter and showrunner. She created and was the showruner for »Mixte« (Voltaire High) for Prime Video in 2021, which received critical and public acclaim. As UCLA Extension alumni, Marie first worked as a staff writer on several successful French shows, including seasons 5 to 7 of the critically-acclaimed show »Un village français« (France 3). Later, she worked in the US alongside Tom Fontana for »Borgia« (Canal+). In 2015 she became the head writer for the adaptation, writing and creation of »Polseres Vermelles (Les Bracelets Rouges) « which turned to be a major hit for France’s n°1 broadcaster TF1. Marie co-created and is the showrunner for »Made in France«, a 6-episode show for France 2, currently in post-production.
Alongside her activities, Marie Roussin was also the president of the French Writer’s Guild between 2021 and 2023.
