HOW IT WORKS?
Registration & Submission
- Download the templates and choose the appropriate one for your project (scripted series, scripted feature-length film, documentary series/feature-length film, or entertainment form
- Read the instructions, fill it with all the required information, and save it as a PDF
- Register and submit your project by October 10th, 11:59 PM
*Participation is free for all CEE applicants.
Selection & Judging
- The organizer will pre-select projects based on rules, technical requirements, and overall standards by October 14th
- The pre-selection jury will rate projects in the first round by October 31st after which we will notify the top 10 candidates about their status
- The main jury will rate the top 10 projects in the second round by November 14th after which the top three candidates will be notified about proceeding to the final round
Live Pitch & Final Round
- Top three finalists in each category will pitch their project live at the NEM Zagreb 2024
- Both pre-selection and the main jury will be rating the pitch of each finalist onsite by ranking them from 1st to 3rd place which correlates as 3 points for the best pitch, two points for the second best, and of course, one point for the third best pitch that will be added to their previous score
Winners & NEM Awards ceremony
- Winners will be announced at the NEM Awards ceremony during NEM Zagreb 2024
- Feedback and results for all submitted projects will be revealed within a week after the ceremony
IMPORTANT NOTES
- All projects must be submitted online and uploaded as a PDF in English
- Deviations from the original template and word count may result in disqualification
