World renowned leaders of television industry have come to Croatia

After a two-year break, leaders of the TV industry have, for the eighth time, gathered on the TV market NEM Dubrovnik 2021. Starting today and for the next three days, in Hotel Dubrovnik Palace, more than 500 attendees, panelists and keynote speakers will discuss new trends and media evolution after a year that greatly influenced the industry.

After initial meetings and gatherings on numerous terraces and restaurants of Hotel Dubrovnik Palace, organizer of the market, Croatian marketing and TV industry agency Mediavision officially welcomed all attendees along with Pavel Stantchev from TV2 Media Group who talked about potentially last days of linear television as we know it, the synergy with telecoms and the importance of viewers interest and satisfaction.

The first panel of NEM Dubrovnik 2021 was “EON Television: From TV To Entertainment Platform“ by United Group, leading multi-play telecoms and media provider in South East Europe. Panelists Adrian Ježina, CEO of Telemach Croatia and Telemach Slovenia, Srđan Đurđević, CEO of United Cloud and Nikola Francetić, CEO of NetTV plus discussed transformation and personalization of television and how TV content affects viewers’ behavior.

Following the panel, Russian GPM ETV introduced its top TV content, premiered a TV show “Stream“, and the day ended with a Serbian Brid TV’s party.

NEM Dubrovnik: Indispensable B2B event in the CEE region

NEM Dubrovnik is a B2B event, every year focusing on the TV industry development in the CEE region. Regular visitors are key representatives of pay-tv channels, FTA channels, streaming services, telecom operators, and other television services providers, but also actors, producers, directors, writers, and other participants in the audiovisual industry. This year, Dubrovnik will also host the finalists of the NEM Network screenplay writing competition, who will get the chance to meet with potential partners, buyers and/or investors from the industry.

New Europe Market and Mediavision agency

New Europe Market (NEM) is a collective name for several events organized by the marketing and TV industry agency Mediavision. With an already traditional NEM Dubrovnik, 2019 saw the introduction of a winter edition called NEM Zagreb, dedicated to the creative side of the TV industry. During the challenging 2020, the new platform NEM Network was introduced, so that the professionals could stay connected regardless of the physical traveling restrictions.
