Vasilis Chrysanthopoulos works as an Executive Producer for Foss Productions, the leading Greek production that has produced some of Greece’s most acclaimed series, including Maestro in Blue (the first Greek Netflix Original), Milky Way (Fifth Season, Series Mania), The Beach (Beta Film, RAI, ERT), and the upcoming flagship period drama The Great Chimera (Beta Film).
Vasilis is also the co-founder and head film producer of the Greek production company PLAYS2PLACE, a faculty member in ANT1 Screenwriting Academy and ANT1 Screen Acting Academy and a member of EAVE and Cannes Producers Network.
His work is dedicated in developing and producing original and innovative cinematic stories for the international audience, with a special focus on discovering and promoting new talents and pioneer voices.
In August 2019, the international magazine “Screen International” featured his profile in its article “Five producers to know from Southeast Europe”.
