Oriol Cardús (Barcelona, 1980) is a cinema and TV director and scriptwriter. After
studying filmmaking in ESCAC (Barcelona, Spain), he started editing and
postproducing TV commercials back in 2003. Three years later, in 2006, he
became a TV commercials director, job that allowed him to experiment with many
different storytelling techniques and develop a personal and unique style. In 2012
Oriol started a new path on his career, focusing more on fiction rather than
advertisement. Since then he has written/directed two short films, a webseries
(Emerson) and a documentary. Nowadays Oriol writes and develops TV Series
for Grupo Ganga (a production company based in Madrid, focused on the production
of drama series and prime time television programs recognized in Spain and abroad
with more than a hundred awards), where he applies all his knowledge and
background in the industry to the development of new high-end content
