Synopsis: “One Song a Day Takes Mischief Away” is the most famous film by director and screenwriter Krešo Golik and remains one of the most-watched Croatian films of all time. Described as a “romantic comedy with singing” the film is structured as a collage diary. The story in Golik’s work is narrated by young Perica, and the series Diary of a Schlager Singer builds on the beloved tale of the cult film. It follows the character of Perica 30 years later, during a time of considerable social change.
