Synopsis: After solving their last case, Zawieja and Trepa continue working at the Szczecin Police Station. By chance, they uncover a human trafficking ring also investigated by the Central Bureau. Things twist as Zawieja finds a possible link to the criminals in her inner circle.

“The Thaw” is a crime series set in Szczecin. It stars Katarzyna Wajda, who will once again play the role of police officer Katarzyna Zawieja. She will be partnered by: Bartłomiej Kotschedoff, Andrzej Grabowski, Ewa Skibińska, Juliusz Chrząstowski. In the second season, the cast will be joined by: Michał Czernecki, Nikodem Rozbicki, Eryk Kulm Jr, Agnieszka Dygant, Mirosław Zbrojewicz, Andrzej Konopka, Tomasz Schuchardt.

This time police officers from the Szczecin police station will have to work out a group of human traffickers. The investigation gets complicated when Zawieja discovers that someone from her private circle may be connected to the criminals.
