Synopsis: “Skin” is the story of a musician, former drug addict and drug dealer named Slobodan Milošević, who, after being imprisoned for several years for smuggling twenty kilograms of cocaine to the Netherlands, is released prison The Hague prison.
On the way back via Belgrade to his hometown of Banja Luka, Slobodan relives reminiscences of his previous life: the time studying at the music academy in The Hague, the war in the former Yugoslavia in which his parents died, the period of life in Belgrade in the 1990s marked by characters from the criminal and drug addiction milieu. Arriving in his hometown, Slobodan tries to find his place in society and a system that has changed a long time ago and in which there are some new rules unknown to him. At the same time, he is faced with characters and events from the past that will change him anew and put him in a dilemma – should he go towards purification and future life following the path of revenge and taking justice into his own hands, or trying to forgive and heal of the soul?
