Matija Dragojevic is a writer from Serbia living in Berlin. After a BA in Psychology and MA in Serial Storytelling, Matija became the Laureate of the CANNESERIES Writer’s Residency. He returned to Canneseries with “Awake”, the first Eastern European series in international competition, where it picked up the Audience Award and two Hearts of Sarajevo at SFF. Matija is an alumnus of Midpoint and Going European, CNC’s co-pro training program for international authors. In 2022, he co-created a drama series that won “best scripted” at NEM Zagreb. Apart from writing, Matija offers
quality post-production services for the life of his 3-year-old son.
