Maria Kivinen is a Finnish media professional, playwright, and international television and film distribution specialist. She is the Founder and Director of Sales, Acquisitions & Co-Productions at Norse Key Studios Ltd. Distribution and international financing company, where she represents Nordic and international audiovisual content worldwide. Previously Maria Kivinen managed international sales at Yle, the Finnish Broadcasting Company.
Kivinen has built an extensive career in international sales, financing, and co-productions, working across drama series, documentaries, music and performing arts, as well as children’s and youth programming. She is also a Member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (International Emmy® Awards) and served on the Directory Board of IMZ International Music and Media Centre (2023–2025).
