Lukáš Sigmund was born in 1983 in Bratislava. DFFB Serial Eyes and EWC alumni. In 2008 he Graduated from Academy of Performing Arts Bratislava, receiving Master’s degree from Screenwriting and dramaturgy. Since then he worked on numerous movie, TV and theatre projects as a writer, for film magazine Kinečko as editor and for International Animation Festival Fest Anča and TV series festival Pilot as dramaturgy assistant. As a writer he worked for both Slovak private TV broadcasters, as well as for public Radio and Television of Slovakia (RTVS). He co-wrote the screenplay for comedy feature film Villa Lucia (2023) and co-wrote miniseries Ultimatum (2022).
Currently he is working on truecrime miniseries NEUER as well as his original miniseries Frontwards.
