Kenton Allen is the CEO of Big Talk Studios – one of the UK’s leading film and television producAon companies, and a mulA-award-winning producer including BAFTAs for Rev, The Royle Family and Him & Her. In recogniAon of his outstanding contribuAon to television, Kenton was awarded the Fellowship award by the Royal Television Society in 2019. Kenton’s other notable credits include MarAn McDonagh’s Oscar-winning film Six Shooter, as well as a host of criAcally acclaimed television series including Friday Night Dinner, The Outlaws, and most recently the BAFTA-nominated Ludwig, starring David Mitchell. Kenton has led the dynamic growth of Big Talk over the past fiVeen years, including BBCW’s investment in Big Talk in 2008, which culminated in the sale of the company to ITV Studios in 2013. He has conAnued to lead Big Talk’s strategic growth in North America via changed
format, internaAonal co-producAon and US originals. Big Talk was named as one of Broadcast’s Best Places to Work in 2017, 2018 and 2022 and in 2025 was nominated for both Broadcast’s Best Independent ProducAon Company and Edinburgh TV Awards’ ProducAon Company of the Year.
Kenton is married with two children, two dogs and four iPads.
