Jarmo Lampela has worked as the Head of Drama at YLE since 2015. He graduated from ELO, Finnish Film School in 1992 and has worked as director, scriptwriter and producer with numerous productions for cinema, television and theatre.
2007-2014 Jarmo was working as the Professor of Film Directing and Head of the Department of Film, Television and Scenography at Aalto University, Helsinki.
In recent years, Yle has produced numerous international TV series co-productions – Seconds/Germany and Denmark/N12, Paradise I-III/Spain/N12, White Wall/Sweden/N12, Helsinki Syndrome/Germany and Transport/Belgium/N12, The Cargo/UK/Malta/N12.
