Founding partner and CEO of Dramedy Productions since 2003, Filip has produced and co-created nearly 500 hours of prime-time television fiction, with several Dramedy series also enjoying international success. He has also been involved in international productions as a co-producer or production services partner. His work includes the acclaimed series Wonderful Times (Vyprávěj), which won a Golden Nymph at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival, alongside several other Czech television awards and nominations. Dramedy’s recent productions include the hit series The Swap (Kukačky) for Czech Television (2021–2023), the drama miniseries Guru for Voyo (2022), the period drama Golden Swan for Nova (2023–2024), and the long-running contemporary hit Polabí for Prima TV (since 2025). New Dramedy series are set to premiere in 2027, with several additional projects in advanced development. Dramedy also operates its own production facilities in Prague, including three sound stages. Filip is a board member of the Czech Audiovisual Producers’ Association (APA) and the European Audiovisual Production Association (CEPI), as well as a member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
