Mr. Dimitris Michalakis is COSMOTE TV Business Unit Executive Director at OTE Group since April 2013. Dimitris transformed the TV service to a fully blown standalone broadcasting unit, offering premium exclusive content through 16 COSMOTE own branded and operated channels, on demand services, producing original content (movies and documentaries) accessible through DTH, IPTV and OTT. He first joined COSMOTE TV in March 2012, as Commercial Director.
Previously, he held various positions in OTE Group, as Product Management & Marketing Director of OTEGlobe (beginning 2006) and Marketing Manager of OTE International (May 2002). Prior to OTE Group, Mr. Michalakis was at Telestet (currently Wind Hellas) as Product Manager. He began his career at Philip Morris Hellas Marketing and Sales units. COSMOTE TV is OTE Group’s pay TV service, currently holding the leading position in Greece, with more than 550,000 subscribers.
