Dennis is the founder/CEO of Creatalyst, a global strategy boutique, that teaches executives, educators, students and entrepreneurs how to unlock their creativity and drive innovation in their organizations and personal lives. He believes that we’re all creative and have simply lost touch with this side of ourselves. Serving as a creative catalyst (or creatalyst), Dennis shares strategies for reclaiming our innate gifts and turning ideas into action.
Prior to launching Creatalyst, Dennis led strategic marketing and customer engagement initiatives for a number of companies in Europe and the US, including Liberty Global in Central Europe. Living for 14 years in Hungary taught him how to look at issues from multiple perspectives and appreciate the local nuances that shape how people view their world. Dennis has held various C-level roles including CEO and CMO and worked throughout the world, leading diverse multinational teams.
Dennis is also a fine art photographer and his photography reflects how he views the world: as one huge creative playground where he tries to capture bits and pieces to share with others. He’s not constrained by certain themes; rather he continually tries new subjects as he finds or borrows them. They build on one another and Dennis finds that the story is evolving. His work has been shown globally and is in the permanent collection of museums and private collectors.
A skilled public speaker and workshop leader, Dennis has worked on five continents, including speaking at TEDx Danubia in Budapest. In his talks and workshops, Dennis mashes up strategy, photography and creative thinking to challenge the audience’s perspective.
Dennis also launched the lifestyle brand Dream. Believe. Do., which provides the nudge encouraging others to pursue their dreams. He hosts the “Dream. Believe. Do.” podcast, where he interviews individuals about how they achieved their dreams.
