After graduating from the University of Economics in Vienna in 1995, Dejan Turk began his career at McDonald’s in Slovenia as a restaurant manager where he gradually advanced to become the CEO of the McDonald’s restaurant chain in Slovenia and Croatia.
In 2004, Dejan joined A1 Slovenia (then known as SI.mobile) as the marketing and sales manager. He quickly ascended to become a board member for Marketing and Sales (CMO) , and in 2007, he was appointed CEO of the company.
By 2014, he was named the CEO of A1 Serbia (formerly VIP mobile). Since 2015, he has served as the CEO/CMO of a new organizational unit comprising A1 Serbia and A1 Slovenia within the A1 Group.
In June 2024, Dejan was appointed CEO of both A1 Croatia and A1 Slovenia.
Throughout his distinguished career, Dejan has received numerous prestigious awards, including Manager of the Year in Slovenia, Manager of the Year in Serbia, awards for significant economic contributions to Slovenia’s economy and for excellence, leadership, and corporate social responsibility in Serbia.
