Daria Stilin is a screenwriter and film director with an MA in Business Economics and in Film Dramaturgy. She has written on TV series for Nova TV and HRT, and attended programs like TorinoFilmLab, Talents Sarajevo, European Writers Desk, CineLink Drama, European Showrunner Training by ifs. She will also take part in next year’s edition of Full Moon Creative Lab in Transylvania.
Among some of her favourite accomplishments is founding Vrboska Film Festival, a boutique short fiction and animated films festival in her hometown on the island of Hvar.
Daria won the NEM Zagreb contest twice, with a TV series and her first feature film. She also received script development funding from the Croatian Audiovisual Centre for the film, and the award at Pula Film Festival for the “The most likely box office hit”. Daria is currently the co-creator and writer of an 8-part TV drama series for Drugi plan/Beta Film/ZDF. She’s based in Zagreb, Croatia, writes both in Croatian and in English, and has several projects in development.
