Caroline Levy is a BAFTA-nominated producer and executive producer with extensive experience across both scripted and non-scripted television. She has delivered acclaimed content for leading broadcasters and platforms including Paramount, BBC, ITV, Sky, Channel 4, FX, and Showtime.
Most recently, Caroline produced the second season of The Undeclared War for Channel 4, NBC Universal, and Peacock with Playground Entertainment. Alongside her production work, she serves as the creative lead and curator of a BFI programme, International Horizons Scripted, designed to support high-end television producers in Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Through this initiative, she connects emerging independent producers with senior commissioners including Netflix, Paramount, Channel 4, and the BBC, as well as global distributors such as Banijay, All3Media, and Fremantle, and many more helping the producers to refine their slates, pitch more effectively, and expand their international reach. At Paramount, Caroline held the role of in-house Creative Producer, contributing to highprofile projects including Ewan McGregor’s A Gentleman in Moscow and the international thriller Band of Spies. Prior to that, she served as Senior Production Executive overseeing all UK scripted projects for Paramount+ and Channel 5—more than thirty productions—where she led on production, financial, and commercial negotiations. Earlier in her career, Caroline was Director of Current High-End Drama at BBC Studios, where she collaborated on and executive produced flagship titles such as Silent Witness and Doctor Who. She also executive produced The Break, a series through whichshe championed new disabled talent—underscoring her commitment to inclusivity and diverse storytelling.
As a freelance producer and executive producer, Caroline has worked on an array of successful dramas including Channel 4’s Deadwater Fell starring David Tennant, action
romcom Sky’s Hooten & the Lady and BAFTA nominated Channel 4’s The Mill. Caroline began her career as a journalist with BBC News. In 2024, Caroline was elected to
the BAFTA Television Committee and currently serves as a Trustee of The Media Trust.
