Ana Muhar Blanquart is a Croatian journalist specializing in current affairs and travel writing. For the past ten years she has been writing for various Croatian titles, including Forbes magazine, the weekly magazines Gloria and Globus and Jutarnji list, Croatia’s leading daily paper. Her column “Boarding Pass” covering international current affairs topics, has been one of the most popular in the country. She is a reporter for the national television’s programme “Destination Croatia” about tourism where she focuses on international destinations.
She is also well known for her interviews with leading politicians and leaders in the world of sports, art, literature and business. The list of her interviewees show a variety of topics Mrs Blanquart is regularly covering; she has interviewed Tony Blair, Donald Trump, Imran Khan, Rauf Denktas, Eileen Rockefeller, Dr Asim Kurjak, Kenize Mourad, Ken Follett, Luka Modric, Ken Follett, Ralph Fiennes, Rod Stewart and many more.
She is fluent in English, German and French. As Croatia’s only UK Correspondent she lives between London and Zagreb with her husband and three young sons.
