Zane Valeniece is Head of Acquisitions at Latvian Television (LTV) and is in charge of selecting all genre TV series and kid’s programming for LTV channels and online platforms. LTV is the state-owned public service television company. Besides the regular film slots, she has also been involved for a broad spectrum of Latvian and international film projects and is taking care of an annual short documentary film project “Latvian code. Latvia today” – series of short documentary films that are selected in a contest held by LTV. She has participated in many film festivals as a decision maker for projects.
