Tomislav Čizmić is an internationally recognized executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience. Between 2017 and 2023, he led the Mercator Group, successfully guiding the company through a demanding period marked by business transformation, the digitalization of operations, and the strengthening of its brand. His leadership of the region’s largest retailer was defined by comprehensive business and financial restructuring, early recognition of development opportunities, and the accelerated digitalization of the business system.
Tomislav Čizmić holds a Master’s degree in Economics and has further developed his expertise across Europe and in Japan. In 2022, he began his second term as a member of the UEFA National Associations Committee.
Since 2023, he has been leading Telemach Slovenija, the country’s leading provider of television and internet services and one of its major mobile operators. He is committed to further strengthening the company’s market position, enhancing brand power, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.
