Petr Gottwald joined HBO Europe in 2007. He was building a new team of program schedulers and loggers in Prague office to manage full schedules for all HBO and Cinemax channels in Central Europe. He focused on programming strategy and strengthening programming offer with original production, high profile series, implementing day-and-date broadcast with HBO US Original Programming. Nowadays he is responsible for Program planning and scheduling of all HBO channels (linear channels and SVOD services – HBO GO & HBO OD) in Central Europe. He was part of the team rebranding HBO Comedy channel into HBO3 channel focusing on series, helping to strength VOD services, making editorial work in terms of selection of high profile titles for the services. Before joining HBO Europe, he worked in TV industry for free-tv channels in the Czechia and Slovakia, he was media analyst focused on foreign TV markets and helping to bring the best shows including formats adaptation in local territory.
