Panagiotis Varvatsoulis holds an undergraduate degree in Public Management and a master’s degree in Psychology from the University of East London. He has also completed specialized training in Criminal Psychology and Medical Psychology at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He is a Forensic Psychologist and Criminologist with extensive experience in criminal investigation, forensic science, and content protection. He served for more than 23 years in the Hellenic Police, primarily within the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, specializing in crime scene investigation, fingerprint examination, AFIS systems, and forensic DNA procedures. He currently serves as Director of Content Protection in the telecommunications, networks, and media sector, and as General Director of Company for the Protection of Audiovisual Works. He is also a Court-Appointed Forensic Expert in Criminology and Psychology at the Athens Court of First Instance and a Professor of Criminal and Forensic Psychology at Metropolitan College. His work focuses on applied criminology, forensic psychology, anti-piracy strategy, and the protection of audiovisual content
