Karina Rompa is a media executive specialising in content acquisition and distribution, with a strong focus on digital platforms, new monetisation models, and the evolving role of YouTube as a global video ecosystem. She is the founder of Media Hansa and an official affiliate of Troveo AI, where she sources and licenses premium audiovisual content for AI model training, giving her a forward-looking perspective on how technology is reshaping content value, rights and distribution strategies. In parallel, she leads Business Development and Partnerships at Rakuten TV, working across OTT, FAST, AVOD and TVOD models and building strategic partnerships across Europe.
With over 15 years of experience, Karina combines hands-on deal-making with a strong understanding of how content performs across transactional and advertising-supported environments. She closely tracks YouTube as a distribution and monetisation channel, focusing on how premium content, formats and IP can be adapted and scaled to reach global audiences.
