John Rossiter, general manager of Sony Pictures Television Networks Central Europe, oversees the operations of 15 countries in the region. The company operates various channel brands and digital solutions in the CE region. The Hungarian portfolio comprises of five channels designed for the needs of local viewers. VIASAT3 is famous for its pioneer LPs, VIASAT6 is one of the favourite channels of male viewers, AXN is known for its premium, international crime series, while Sony Max guarantees entertainment for young female viewers and Sony Movie Channel offers movies and cinematic series.
In addition to linear channels, the contents of the Sony portfolio are available on the AXN Now, VIASAT Play and AXN Player digital services.
Rossiter has over 20 years’ experience in the television and content production industry. Previously he was Senior Vice President Operations and Development for HBO Central and Eastern Europe and has held leading positions at Sony Pictures Entertainment and Buena Vista Television International in London.
