Jan has an extensive track record in Czech and Central European audiovisual media industry, in roles ranging from creative producer to c-suite manager.
Jan currently works for FTV Prima, the biggest Czech TV, online and radio media house. His initial work there in 2025 included creating a content strategy for prima+, the company’s VOD platform, and overseeing the doubling of the paying subscriber base in the space of several months. He now runs the content and production division of FTV Prima.
In his previous work he ran the Content – and later also Digital – divisions of Czech TV, the public broadcaster. He built new structure and processes for developing and producing content, leading to increased openness, competitiveness and efficiency of content creation at Czech TV, oversaw the development and launch of new generation of CT’s digital products and was the producer responsible for several high-profile international drama co-productions with ARTE, ORF and ZDF.
Previously, Jan worked as Content Development Director at CME Group, in print media and in information technology consulting.
