Guro Viddal leads TV distribution for French Speaking Europe and Central & Eastern Europe for Amazon MGM Studios Distribution. She joined MGM in 2012, has been with the company since and through it’s acquisition by Amazon in 2022. Guro handles distribution for the MGM and Amazon Studios catalogues, which is in rapid growth with the inclusion of Amazon Original feature films. During her time at MGM and AMSD, Guro has also led content distribution for Italy.
Prior to joining MGM she worked for Classic Media (which later became DreamWorks Animation) handling TV distribution of universally loved children’s content across Benelux, CEE and MENA.
Guro moved from her native Norway to London in 2005 and holds a BA (Hons) in TV Production from The University of Westminster and an MSc in Communication, Regulation and Policy from London School of Economics.
