FAQ IN THE LIGHT OF RECENT EVENTS

NEM Dubrovnik organization team is closely following the situation concerning the coronavirus, in Croatia as well as in the world.

Our priority is the health of our team, attendees, partners and all other involved, and all decisions will be made in order to maintain the well-being of everyone involved.

Should it be necessary to postpone NEM Dubrovnik, we will do so – in line with recommendations issued by the WHO, the Croatian Institute of Public Health and the Croatian Ministry of the Interior.

We will inform the public, attendees and partners in case of any changes regarding NEM Dubrovnik.

1. Will NEM Dubrovnik 2020 take place on scheduled dates due to COVID-19?

NEM team is closely monitoring the situation in Croatia, but also in all of the countries which got affected by COVID-19 and will act accordingly by respecting all current restriction measures given by national authorities. We are putting our teams’, partners’ and attendees’ safety first and encourage all of attendees to do the same within their own countries and policies. In case NEM Dubrovnik won’t be possible to organize during June 2020, we will inform you about new dates.

2. Should I travel to Dubrovnik if NEM will take place according to plan?

Public health is our main priority so we suggest all attendees follow travel advice given by their Government, official regulatory bodies as well as World Health Organization. NEM organizers will apply highest hygiene standards and organize disinfection check points in order to contribute to general health and well-being.

3. Is NEM Dubrovnik taking place in a closed area?

NEM Dubrovnik is taking place at Hotel Dubrovnik Palace with main networking areas being NEM terrace, restaurants and bars in the open, all within the hotel. Our official program takes place is the Panel Room, Showroom and Market which are all located inside of the hotel. Panel Room is spacious and counts no more than 150 seating places and with that is the biggest gathering at one place in a closed area within the event. Of course, both location adjustments and overall concept of the event could be changed in order to prevent potential virus spread.

4. What will happen with my badge (accommodation, sponsorship package, exhibitor stand) in case of postponing NEM Dubrovnik 2020?

In case of date changes, all already purchased badges, accommodation and sponsorship packages would be transferred to new NEM Dubrovnik dates within 2020 or NEM Zagreb 2020 in December.
