GENERAL
1. When should I arrive and when should I leave NEM Dubrovnik?
We recommend arriving in Dubrovnik one day before the event starts or on June 8th in the morning to allow time for check-in and networking opportunities. This ensures you won’t miss any networking or key sessions in the panel room, which will start with “NEM Kickoff” about 3PM. As for departure, we suggest leaving on June 11th.
2. Where can I pick up my badge?
You can collect your badge at the registration desk starting on the first day of the event, during the official working hours. The registration desk opens on June 8th at 9:00 AM. Please note, you only need to present a valid ID or passport to receive your badge. We will not be sending digital badges for printing.
3. Can you please tell me more about the Sunset, Mare and Adriatic Area?
If you’ve booked a meeting table or are trying to find one, our staff on-site will gladly assist you. Floorplan will be published later. In the meantime, please check simple location guide on this link.
In short, the Sunset Area is located on the 9th floor (hotel reception and NEM registration desk floor). Mare and Adriatic Area are located on the 10th floor (top floor) in Hotel Dubrovnik Palace. Panel room is located in Mare Area. All areas are well connected with about 20 stairs or elevator.
4. Are there any other meeting locations in hotel Dubrovnik Palace?
Of course, see the full list of restaurants and bars at the venue hotel on this link. Note, buffet lunch at a special price of 30€ (VAT included) is offered only to NEM participants at Elafiti Restaurant (7th floor).
TRANSFERS
1. Where is the NEM shuttle and when does it run?
NEM shuttle is free for all participants and runs from Lapad shuttle station to hotel Dubrovnik Palace (1 minute drive). Recurring rides are from June 8th to June 11th. The time table will be available soon.
2. Who should I contact for a transfer from the airport to the hotel Dubrovnik Palace or hotel Kompas?
Please contact hotel Dubrovnik Palace directly via Office.palace@alh.hr to arrange a transfer or you can use Uber.
3. Which bus goes to the old town and when does it run?
Bus line number 4 goes to the old town, and you can find the bus schedule here.
ACCOMMODATION
1. Can I check in early?
Please contact us at nem@mediavision.hr . We can inform the hotel that you wish to check in early, but we can’t guarantee it, because it depends on the hotel occupancy. Also, additional charges may apply.
2. Can I check out later?
Please arrange your late check out at the hotel reception.
