Andrea Gavačová is a highly respected media executive with more than 30 years of experience in the television industry across Central and Eastern Europe. She currently serves as Vice President of Format Sales for CEE at Fremantle, where she has spent the past two decades driving the distribution and licensing of internationally successful television formats across the region.
Earlier in her career, she was Board Member and Head of Acquisitions at the Slovak public broadcaster STV, a lecturer at Academia Istropolitana/VŠMU in Bratislava, and CEO and producer at CloseUp Film. She also co-founded Telefilm Eurokim, the regional sister company of BetaFilm/Kirch Group, serving as Head of Sales for Central and Eastern Europe.
With expertise spanning broadcasting, production, content acquisition, and international format sales, Andrea is recognized as one of the leading television industry professionals in the CEE region.
