Alex Sanchez began his career in his hometown of Barcelona, working as a Technical Director for local TV stations. His passion for live broadcasting soon took him global, joining Dorna Sports and the MotoGP circuit, where he played a crucial role in managing the transmission and reception (tx/rx) of OnBoard and Handheld cameras—a key element in delivering the thrilling, up-close coverage MotoGP is known for.
In 2015, Alex relocated to Geneva to join Eurovision/EBU, where he held various operational roles over the years. In 2024, he was appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Eurovision Services. In this role, Alex oversees the organization’s operational backbone, ensuring the seamless delivery of live broadcasts, managing content distribution, and supporting the technical and logistical execution of Tier 1 sports events.
