Co-founder of the Innovative and Emmy® Award Winning Production Company, World of Wonder Productions

Randy Barbato and Fenton Bailey are co-founders of the innovative and Emmy® Award winning production company, World of Wonder Productions.

Together they have produced and directed several award-winning films and documentaries such as Mapplethorpe: Look At The Pictures, Inside Deep Throat, Wishful Drinking, Monica in Black and White, and Menendez: Blood Brothers starring Courtney Love, and most recently the HBO documentary LIBERTY: Mother of Exiles (premiering July 4th) and the Google/NPR StoryCorps collaboration STONEWALL Out Loud.

Seven of their films have premiered at Sundance Film Festival including The Eyes of Tammy Faye, Becoming Chaz and Party Monster (the feature film starring Macaulay Culkin). Three of their documentaries – Out of Iraq, Party Monster, The Last Beekeeper – have all won Emmy® Awards.

In addition to their feature documentaries they are known for hit series such as RuPaul’s Drag Race (Vh1) which won the Emmy® Award for Best Reailty-Competition Program three years in a row, Million Dollar Listings (Bravo), Big Freedia: Queen of Bounce (Fuse), Dancing Queen (Netflix), Island Hunters (HGTV), and Backyard Envy (Bravo).

Randy and Fenton were honored with the IDA Pioneer Award in December 2014, celebrating “exceptional achievement, leadership, and vision in the nonfiction and documentary community”.

Self-proclaimed screen agnostics, Randy and Fenton believe it’s the dimensions of the story not the size of the screen that counts. They also believe that in the rapidly evolving media climate a story can be told in an infinite number of ways.

World of Wonder has created a substantial digital footprint with its YouTube channel and MCN network WOWPresents (with 1.2 million subscribers) along with an award-winning blog, The WOW Report. In 2017 they launched their OTT network WOWP+
