Everything you need to know about NEM Zagreb


1. When and where will NEM Zagreb take place?

NEM Zagreb will be held from the 11th to the 13th of December 2019 in Zagreb, Croatia. The venue of the conference is Esplanade Zagreb Hotel.

The programme will start in the afternoon of Wednesday the 11th and end on Friday the 13th with an evening event so we suggest that you book your departure flight for Saturday (December 14th, 2019).


2. What is the difference between NEM Dubrovnik and NEM Zagreb?

NEM Zagreb is the winter edition of the NEM Dubrovnik conference and unlike its more broadly oriented predecessor, NEM Zagreb will first and foremost focus on TV content, production and filming for which we believe an enormous unexploited potential exists in the CEE region.

The main idea of the event is to create an opportunity for regional content, production and filming to reach the big players in search of new, original and high quality content, coproduction and amazing filming locations which Croatia and the region have to offer.


3. Who organizes NEM Zagreb and NEM Dubrovnik?

NEM is organized by Mediavision Ltd., a full service agency that specializes in TV distribution, promotion of TV channels and content in the CEE region. Mediavision’s mission is to help content providers on still emerging CEE market to be present, well positioned and recognized in the territory as well as to help platforms (IPTV, Cable and DTH operators) to find the best quality content that will fit their platform strategy

Core business areas include: Channel representation / distribution, Content Acquisition, PR & Marketing activities, Promotion of TV channels, Digital advertising, Web design and development, Video production, Event management.


1. How do I collect my badge for the event?

All badges can be collected at our registration desk onsite at the official venue of the event. You only need your ID card or your passport to collect your badge.
The invoice for the badge will be sent to you once the payment for the badge is made as a reservation confirmation but it is not necessary to have it for the badge pick up.


2. Is it possible to purchase a badge onsite?

Yes, but the payment has to be made straight away via credit card.


3. What does the Badge Zagreb include?

Badge Zagreb enables you to participate in all activities that take place in the panel room (panel discussions, case studies, presentations, screenings), use of the online meeting service as well as the use of our meeting tables at the conference venue on a “first come, first served” basis. Also, the badge allows you access to all networking events that are in the official agenda. Private screenings are not included since attendance is by invitation only.


4. What does the Creative Badge Zagreb include?

Creative Badge Zagreb includes the same opportunities as Badge Zagreb, but it also entitles you to enter a TV Writing Contest and submit your work under the Terms and Conditions of the contest – link. In the event that you do not submit your application on time, you will not have access to the conference unless you pay the full price for the Badge Zagreb (difference in price).


5. What does the Badge Zagreb + Dubrovnik include?

Badge Zagreb + Dubrovnik is a package deal to get discounted prices for both NEM conferences. Both badges include the same opportunities as the regular Badge Zagreb and Badge Dubrovnik.


6. What is the cancellation policy?

The same rules apply to all three options (Badge Zagreb, Creative Badge Zagreb, Badge Zagreb + Dubrovnik)

  • Full money refund if cancelled by October 11th 2019
  • 50% refund if cancelled by November 11th 2019
  • No refund for cancellations from November 12th 2019

2. Where can I arrange my meetings at the conference venue?

You will have a meeting area at your disposal with secured tables for meetings during the day. The use of the tables is strictly on a “first come, first served” basis, and no reservations of the tables are possible. In case all the tables are taken, you can use hotel F&B facilities.


3. How to get to the hotel from the airport?

This primarily depends on the hotel you are staying at. Of course, a taxi service is a good solution for any hotel. Each hotel also offers the possibility of organized transfer from and to the airport which you can arrange directly with the hotel you are staying at.
