Nikola Francetić leads the Media, Content and Broadcasting business at A1 Telekom Austria Group. He is responsible for TV content across TAG footprint territories as well as for defining and implementing the content strategy and broadcasting services strategy. He spearheaded the transformation of the meaning of content in business, so nowadays A1 Group members use content as a strategic advantage through, for example, exclusive sports rights. He particularly focuses on innovations, so today A1 Group and its members organize and produce their own eSport leagues and tournaments.
In the past 15 years, he has held various positions in telecom and media organizations in the CEE region focusing on online media development, Pay TV and magazine business. He has been a member of the Croatian Audiovisual Council since 2013.
