Sara joined as Keshet UK opened its London offices in November 2012. She nurtures the company’s English language drama slate and is charged with building relationships in the UK and Europe, as well as producing and co-producing original projects and reformatted Keshet shows. The A Word is Keshet UK’s first series commission, a co-production with Fifty Fathoms for BBC1, written by Pete Bowker.
Sara has worked in British TV drama production for 20 years, and prior to joining Keshet UK, held roles at NBC, BBC, was the Head of Development for La Plante Productions and Head of Drama & Comedy for Sky One.
London Screenwriters Festival:
I am always on the lookout for stories that engage my heart and my mind, and that don’t take liberties with either for the sake of an easy win. We only make TV and will choose on the basis of quality and passion rather than any specific desire for a certain genre.
