Paul is EVP Your Family Entertainment, the German kid’s and family content company with the largest independent kid’s TV library in Europe where he serves as EVP responsible for building their digital and channel distribution businesses.
Paul founded NBC Universal Corus and Dic Entertainment backed KidsCo in 2005 and, as CEO, built it into a global children’s linear and VOD network in 98 countries and in 18 languages worldwide before a controlling sale to Comcast in early 2012.
Prior to KidsCo, Paul was Managing Director/Senior Vice President of Walt Disney Television International based in London and latterly Burbank, Los Angeles, where he created new channel brands Playhouse Disney and Toon Disney which under his leadership were rolled out worldwide and was responsible for global Disney kids’s TV content production and broadcast working on shows including Tarzan, Kim Possible, Team Supremo, Lilo and Stich, Lizzie McGuire and That’s So Raven.
Paul was Managing Editor of BBC Radio 1 responsible for all programming and music and Head of Strategy for Radios 1, 2, 3 4 and 5Live pioneering the BBC’s future digital services and strategic development of the analogue networks. He has also been CEO of national commercial station Talk Radio, and Program Director of the Chiltern Radio Network.
He has a BSc Hons and MBA from Cambridge, Manchester and Bradford Universities. He has won numerous industry awards and is a regular conference speaker and guest on TV radio and podcasts.
