Jeremy Maddocks joined CISCO over 3 years ago and has been responsible for new business and growth of the company in the Russia, CIS and Central Eastern Europe region, where CISCO deploys its Infinite suite of software including, Infinite Video OTT, Infinite Home for cable operators and Telco’s, Conditional Access VideoGuard, middleware, Infinite DVR, audience measurement, encoding, CDN, V2P virtual video processing, Infinite Broadcast for satellite and one-way broadcasters and other technology across cable, satellite, terrestrial and ipTV systems with many customers including Russia, Kazakhstan, Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia and Ukraine. In addition, he is responsible for Middle East markets where CISCO has a strong and growing customer base and dominates the broadcast TV security market.

Maddocks helped popularise the modular, low cost solutions which allow customers to launch fully integrated end to end platforms quickly and at low cost enabling subscriber growth to invest in revenue generating technologies. Maddocks was an early pioneer in these markets and has a strong reputation for on time delivery, security and quality.

Today, CISCO is leading the world in cloud based technologies and integrating the home through the Internet of Everything to create a richer cohesive user experience by which MSO’s can benefit from increased ARPU, reduced churn and greater customer satisfaction.  TV is no exception and more of the control plane, data plane and video processing are now increasingly moving to the cloud which offers exceptional launch times, cost savings and fast adaptation for operators.

Previously, Maddocks worked for NDS, Nera and was a strategic consultant to such companies as Data Sciences, ICL, IBM and Inmarsat and before that he became a professional political advisor following a short service commission as an officer in the Royal Marines after reading Theology at Kings College London. His interests include skiing, snowboarding, politics, photography and travel.
