The Croatian drama series with an always intriguing subject, The Paper, will see its world premiere on June 14th, 2016., during this year’s fourth edition of NEM in Dubrovnik.
The Paper is a 12 episode series surrounding a newspaper redaction in Rijeka during a swift change in ownership and internal turmoil, caused by a terrible car accident. Regardless of the shocking takeover by a politically and socially influential tycoon, The Paper’s journalists continue to investigate and put together the pieces of a much bigger transitional mosaic connected with the media.
The Paper, written by Ivica Đikić, is the first TV series of Cannes Laureate Dalibor Matanić, and it is produced by the company „Drugi plan“, helmed by Nebojša Taraba and Miodrag Sila for the Croatian National Television, HRT. The series features renowned actors such as Branka Katić, Trpimir Jurkić, Aleksandar Cvjetković, Olga Palaković, Zijad Gračić and many more.
