Having grown up in Adelaide, Australia, Tom graduated from Adelaide University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Media degree and promptly moved to regional South Australia to work for the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation), where he produced a morning radio programme and created web and social content for 2 years. Moving to London in 2010, Tom moved into the world of commercial and digital sports, landing a job with Perform where he account managed Mobile apps for big brands such as Fox Soccer, WTA, ADMC, Goal.com, as well as the official apps for Chelsea FC, Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Celtic FC. Tom was then offered a chance to join EA SPORTS, where he worked for over 5 and a half years leading the activation of the FIFA Franchise’s Global Partnerships and Talent sponsorships, working with the likes of The Premier League, Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool FC, Manchester United, Juventus, FC Bayern Munich, as well as with many famous footballers, including Pele, Messi, Aguero and Bale. Tom also worked with Sky Sports Monday Night Football to integrate FIFA graphics into broadcast analysis. Tom co-founded his latest venture – Digital Sports Mgmt – in late 2016; DSM connects brands to world football, shaping innovative activation programs, representing FIFA influencers and advising clubs & brands in the eSports space.
